CHANGING TOMORROW

CHANGING TOMORROW

CHANGING TOMORROW

Club de Ultrace 2024 has gone. For us, it was the most exceptional instalment of this event ever. We brought together people full of boundless optimism and genuine love for cars, thus unleashing an undiscovered potential. The experiences from previous years drove us to push boundaries and reach for what once seemed impossible. We are excited to look ahead and see how much more there is still to achieve.

The most important element that contributed to the development of our event, is undoubtedly networking. Last year, we travelled a lot, and as a result, we brought the most unique cars to Wrocław from the farthest corners of the world. Building relationships and trust led to the presence of the most renowned figures on our stage: Wataru Kato, Ferdi Porsche, Adam LZ, Khyzyl Saleem, Larry Chen, Chazzydawg, Jimmy Oaks, Misha Charoudin, and cars as unique as the McLaren F1 GTR Longtail – Hfmstrs, Porsche 962C – F.A.T. International, Alfa Romeo 155 DTM – Rennmeister, Mustang '65 – Viciousstang, Ford Zakspeed Capri Group 5 – Holyhall, Lamborghini Countach – Liberty Walk, Dodge Charger – Johan Eriksson, and many more.

The story of the night experience started exceptionally awkward for all of us. Back in 2023, we attended a Luciano concert, which was yet another performance of his we came to see. Right there, just for laughs, we joked, "What if we brought him for our show?" since we have our after-party, which we felt never got as much love as we wanted? From that moment on, we fully locked in to make it possible, clearing out the way for what we call ‘The Night Experience’. For the first time in Ultrace history, you could add the official after-party tickets to your basket. We hesitated and questioned if that was the right deccision, but the tickets sold out in literally no time – just under a week. That was unbelievable, we sold tickets without sharing the event lineup or explaining what it actually is. At this point we want to express our gratitude for the biggest trust we have experienced in 15 years of creating this event!

As if it wasn’t enough, we were quickly able to confirm Luciano @lucianoloco for the main performance and Jagermeister to become main partner of the event. Since much of our recent inspiration comes from the techno scene, we decided to bring someone special strictly for ourselves, so we brought Estella Boersma. The Dutch DJ who charmed of us at one of her shows. Saying the least, that was oustanding decision.

The Night Experience took place in the Stadiums conference and business center, which we rearranged to match the standards of our main event and the quality of the best clubs we’ve ever been to. The venue has a combined area of 10,000 square meters across three floors. Each of the event floors provided different entertainment, allowing guests to pick and choose between sections. Over the duration of the night nearly 5000 people visited our nightclub, with over 3500 present for the headliner act. It just felt magical to all of us, being able to get to our favorite artists. Previously we only enjoyed their performances at the largest festivals and seen alongside the biggest names in the music industry. Once again, big ups for your trust, and stay tuned for more news on this project in the near future.

During one of our trips to our partners, we came up with an idea for an interesting car display at the event. What if we created platforms for the unique cars at the show—a platform that looks like it’s a piece of the racetrack, pulled out of the ground, and dropped at the stadium grounds? Let’s add the backdrop representing the place or brand and put some actual rocks and vegetation to make it look realistic. Done! Then let’s make four of those! It wasn’t as easy as it sounds - later, this turned out to be our most difficult project we have undertaken for this year’s Ultrace.

Just another complicated part of the event we should say. Yet this concept made us so excited, we were determined to do everything it takes to make it real. We began with the planning, drawing, and 3D modeling, we created an entire system for assembly and disassembly. We brought artists onboard to support us in the process. Zulukuki @zulukuki became the main lead and the crucial person who put in work to bring this concept to fruition. The potential of the project allowed us to convince our partners to use it for their most prized cars. We felt enormous pride to finally see it standing. That’s what you feel when countless hours of work pay off. It is also worth mentioning our exhibitors, to whom we extend our sincere thanks for their time and interest in co-creating the event. Working with you is always at the highest level and brings us a lot of joy.

The first platform presented the McLaren F1 GTR Longtail straight from the BMW Museum, @bmwclassic. As all of you can imagine featuring the car of this grade on our show, was something none of us could even imagine months ago. Furthermore, two Fast FINA fleet cars showed up alongside F1 – the legendary M3 E36 GTR and M3 E30. Special thanks to The Hofmeisters @hfmstrs for making all of this happen.

One of our trips paved the way for creating an exceptional platform for FAT International @fat.international, the project run by Ferdi Porsche @ferdipor. The choice for the car was quite a challenge as Porsche has a whole lineup of legendary racing vehicles on their account. In our eyes, one stand out – Porsche 962c, single most successful Porsche race-car ever to compete.

Seeing the streets of Seoul in the background, most of you probably already relate to our main partner from South Korea Peaches @peachesoneuniverse. In their intense activity for this year, they have undertaken an effort to build an impressive drift car, one of its kind, the Hyundai Pony. To do so, they have teamed up with Kyzyl Saleem @the_kyza who designed the widebody, and from this point on, they got onto creating a real monster. The car has been part of the bigger project, which also involved drifting legend Nobuteru Taniguchi @nobuterutaniguchi. Since everything had tight timing, Pony had to fly all the way from Korea to Poland.

The last platform was dedicated to American Muscle in its wildest form. Desert scenery and an all-black Ford Mustang right in front—the Vicious Mustang. The car came to us all the way from the United States—a car that consumed thousands of hours to build, 1.5 million US dollars in fabrication
and mods, showing us the quality and sophistication not known to us before.
All this was made possible thanks to our great friends Chris Zollner
@chromecars and Shawn Davis @autotopiala.

Once again, we had the opportunity to work with Hot Wheels, and we were once again amazed by the brand's tremendous commitment. Hot Wheels stood out with its unique stand, which featured the presence of Bryan Benedict, Matchbox Design Director, and a life-sized model of the Boneshaker. We are also incredibly grateful for the trust of Porsche Poland, whose team prepared several brand activations and an excellent stand showcasing models from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.

We decided to raise the bar even higher at the main stage exhibition area. We’re actively seeking out rare and iconic vehicles and people who shape the car world. Ultrace has never been better and more diverse, featuring a stunning array of projects, from custom-builds to rare classics. The sum of all our efforts attracted a diverse range of international enthusiasts, creating a vibrant international atmosphere. Speaking of special stuff, we nearly forgot to mention the main event vehicle. Continuation of our well-going cooperation with Liberty Walk and Kato San @libertywalkkato fruited in entrusting to us LB Lamborghini Countach. The vehicle premiered only in January 2024 during the Tokio Auto Salon. What an intense and vulgar car it is, exactly the thing we were looking for!

In addition, Chrome Cars @chromecars surprised us with the hero car from the 2000 action movie ’Gone In 60 Seconds’ starring (and driving) Nicolas Cage, – Eleanore Ford Mustang, part of their collection of John Player Special F1 Historic racing bolides, and the actual screen-used Toyota Supra from the Fast and Furious movie. Among the crazy things to be presented on the show was also the BMW M4, or rather the remainings of it, which nearly decapitated Misha Charoudin @mgcharoudin on the Nurburgring crash when the barrier literally penetrated the cabin and the roof of the car just a few weeks before the event. As in previous years, this year was no different.

Our partnership with Rennmeister72 grows bigger and stronger, but this time it allowed us to make another dream come true. Our friends from Wolfenbüttel brought the most unique of what they have in their hands: the Alfa Romeo 155 DTM Ti, alongside the incredible Opel Astra DTM and yet another Porsche 962. We are more than glad to have such supportive partners with us. We are always looking forward to creating long-lasting relationships, and it appears we are quite lucky to have found all of you!

We were captivated by several projects and individuals that made Ultrace 2024 truly unforgettable. The presence of TheLowdown, whose team came to Poland for over two weeks to film the most epic aftermovie we will ever get to watch. Additionally, together with the Australian crew, we created an incredible, interactive, modern space that sets a new direction for us, where we showcased three outstanding JDM cars. Among the exceptional mentions, we'd also like to highlight CSF Radiators, led by Ravi, who planned a EuroTour with a stop at Ultrace. The team brought several fantastic projects from Europe, but the CSF 911, which arrived from California.

For the first time, we had an independent media team working separately, yet united in presenting the event to their audiences in their own unique way. Among the content creators were Larry Chen, known for his long-standing collaboration with Hoonigan and Ken Block, Chazz Warren (@chazzydawg), a pioneer of analog photography in the automotive niche, as well as the @carcultth and @streetmetal teams, who flew in from Thailand!

Next Level Drift has become an integral part of Ultrace, captivating our audience with its speed, sound, and style. Some of the coolest people to walk the earth related to the drift world, came to the event, sharing their love for the smell of burning rubber. At this point, the names of some of them will speak volumes, among others: Adam LZ @adam_lz, Suzuki Arios @arios_ suzuki, James Deane @jamesdeane130, Becky Evans @queenb, Sultan @sultanfq, Jimmy Oakes @jimmyoakes, Al Clark @alclark and many wonderful people who supported us from day one. The drift area has never been as strong and looked as good as it has this year. We are glad the style Next Level represents has become a format of its own, and literal drifting special at Ultrace.

Huge thanks also go to the Nightride team for bringing their dedicated fan base along. This year, they showcased their freshly built Nissan R32, which they brought to Next Level alongside many remarkable new projects whose owners chose Ultrace as the debut venue for their cars. Next Level, as every year, is making tremendous progress and actively building a community around drifting. The guys have their own unique and recognisable style, which not only influences how amazing drifting looks at Ultrace but also helps gain even more recognition on the global automotive scene.
